Join us this September for a 4 class pack of pottery FUN! This class is great for Beginner or Beginner+ level of experience and is located in the beautiful Lookout Mountain, TN at our private studio at 105 Mitchell Drive.

September will be a “fast track” session which means you’ll have your 4 class pack within 2 weeks! With back to back nights of wheel throwing you’ll learn so much in a short period of time!

Class schedule:

Wednesday Sept 10th 5:15-7:45pm- Wheel throwing

Thursday, Sept 11th 5:15-7:45pm- Wheel throwing 

Monday, Sept 15th 5:15-7:45pm- Trimming & adding handles

Two options for glazing day: 

Friday, Sept 19 5:15-7:45pm OR Monday, Oct 6 5:15-7:45pm

Our monthly class pack is the perfect way to learn how to throw on the wheel and the learn the ins and outs of the pottery process. Typically first timers make around 5-9 items in their class including: cups, bowls, mugs and more!

In order to be apart of class you must able to attend the first 3 classes. There are two glaze day options to choose from or we can dip your items in white glossy glaze if you are unable to make either but items must be glazed by the end of the month. There are no make up times for missed classes. 

Ages 12+ and the class MUST be attended by both child and adult (each purchasing a seat to take the class) 

What’s included in your class:

• Up to 8lbs of clay (speckled or white stoneware)
• Firing of up to 10 small to medium sized items
• Step by step instruction and help throughout the entire process
• Small class size! Only 4 seats per class to give you a semi-private wheel throwing experience and hands on instruction & learning
• Multiple glaze options and colors

You will also have the option to sign up for additional open studio time to practice during your wheel throwing week. Open studio time is self-guided (no instruction) and a great way to practice what you’re learning. It is $25 for 2 hours.

We are a small business and in order to prepare for the month we can not accommodate returns for purchased classes. Please be sure you can attend before checking out as once you have purchased your seat you are blocking someone else from being able to attend class. It is okay to find a replacement for your entire monthly class if you cannot attend but we will not be able to find a replacement for you.
